Golden Kiss

On today at about 7.30 pm I recorded the Sun’s kiss good night. Frankie Beverly called it the “Golden Time” of the day…“when the sun settles down .… and turns a glow all around” I call it the Sun’s kiss good night. This that time of the day when the sun has beaten on us all day and the sun mellows out and takes it easy while shedding just a lil bit of light for another 45 minutes just to

say good night with the golden kiss that it gives the sky and clouds. The reflection off of the buildings with shiny surfaces is amazing from the any vantage point during the “Golden” time of the day, it almost turns your city in to another city for a few minutes between the night life and the day’s bustles. Seams that every thing mellows out for 45 minutes to and hour while the sun gives the earth a long passionate kiss good night and they bid a due for the next few hours only to rage again the following day. Nite! Nite!

The Chef

No I have never been to any formal school for cooking …. And I don’t like to wash dishes, I would rather clean the bathroom than wash the dishes …but every now and then I like to give the wife a break in the kitchen and just try something new … and when I do try something you better believe that it taste good ask my wife (He aint lying!! ) Any way the true homeboys used to invite honeys to the crib and have me cook for the honeys… ha ha ha I should have been charging … anyway from time to time I like to see if it looks at good at it taste … if you cool enough I might just cook for you one day …

The Abstract View ...

Life’s subtle paintings looks us in the face on a daily basis …whether it’s that used to inform the reader or as a decorative tool … the world is a big canvas and I plan to harness the little abstract works of art that we pass by everyday and take for granted… and highlighting them with my Cannon highlighter LOL…. Oh and if you see your house on my blog ….don’t worry I deleted the pictures with the roaches in them ….lol

TRAFFIC IS A MESS!!!!

The current situation concerning traffic in my city is a mess…in my region is a mess….in my state is a mess ….if you know anything about driving in Va. you probably think the same thing. They have found a fix for the situation tho!!!! The state has just passed new laws that attach civil penalties to major and semi major traffic offences… I mean really!!! Imagine me paying $5500 for a speeding ticket that shit is absurd, and if I don’t pay they suspend my drivers license … Wow so I guess if my car gets a rejection on the on the inspection …it would be cheaper to just by a new car than to run the risk of driving and getting a reckless’ driving ticket. What needs to happen is… the guy that let the Mercury Blvd. exit project run over time and over budget should have made a major contribution to that fund. Instead the taxpayers carry the burden of letting him miss manage millions of dollars and suffer no repercussions. Are we the people, paying him to manage or to sit back and wait for things to go wrong? Back to the fines tho …. Most people don’t have a license because they can’t afford to pay the fine at the time the fine is levied. So they deal with the suspension until the reach a point in time where they can save up the 300 or 500 dollars that the fines and court cost run. In the mean time, the should not be driving. The regional transit system is not that of a Metro in DC, Marta in Atlanta and it’s definitely nothing like caching the train in New York … but never the less we try to lure major football franchises and pro basketball and baseball teams to join in on the funny…. like who wants to sit in traffic for two hours just to see a game and if you leave late you might not make it there till about half time if your lucky. I’m thinking I hate the current situation of the region …but I don’t think this was the way to go about getting the funds together …I think they are just making a bad situation worse.

Good Morning

With the haze of the morning fog the white seems to bleed into the air which makes the bird look so majestic against of the natural back drop of the pond and the leaves. What a way to wake up in the morning. Fresh Air green leaves and beautiful animals which makes this one of my favorite places to be on any fall morning.

A dot

What more can I say!!!! I was claiming to be half man half amazin before I ever heard the basketball playa's names, but I wasn't famous so i guess i don't really have an arguement on the subject of whos name it is. There are multiple sides to every human and every now and then you got to let cats know ..."hey don't mess around and run into that blue side" ...which would be considered the dark side ...lol but nah I'm usually a cool cat with a nasty temperment at times.. but cool cat never the less .

The Eye of the beholder

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder but what if you are beholding eyes, would there be beauty in eyes of the eyes. The eyes are the gateway to the soul so if you have beautiful eyes does that mean your soul is beautiful. These are the questions .... I don't know if Sofie (pictured here) has a beautiful soul but her eyes are wonderful ... but I'll let you be the judge of that.

Move!!!!!

Movement in the frame can be magical if harnessed just right these are some early attempts at catching the movement of my city... it's crazy how fast we move all day and never even think of how fast we are going or sometimes even where we are going. At times we never even pay attention to what we are a passing. As the days go by in a blur I toook some time and my camera lens try to catch a few seconds of that blur from time to time.

LOVE IS!!!!!

Love is one of those things that just happens to you one day, you wake up and bamm your just in it. Hopefully, you are in it with someone thats in it with you too. A good friend once asked me and my wife if we still kissed in the mouth... for some reason after about 9 years of friendship to include three years of marriage .. "yeah" we still kiss each other in the mouth. They say that after a few years the kissing in the mouth thing wears off and you just kiss on the cheek or not even at all. Even after the honey moon is over I enjoy her even when we aren't saying anything the comfort of knowing there's a love out there that is only for me is unparallelled.
